On June 1st, Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade organized a trip for the foreign teachers to experience Min culture. More than 20 people joined the trip, including Mr Lu Rencong, Director of International Education Center, and some of FUIST’s foreign and Chinese teachers.
The group went on the morning to Fujian Chunlun Park where they experienced Fujian’s tea culture by seeing the traditional manufacturing process of jasmine tea, watching tea art performance, and tasting jasmine tea. Everyone got to learn about the history and cultural connotations of Fuzhou jasmine tea. The trip enhanced communication and exchange amongst the teachers and staff, and enabled our international teachers to know about China, befriend China and love China. All the foreign teachers have experienced the happy and warm working atmosphere of the university.
